ADHD + OFF SEASON =

Y'all gave me a lot to do at the end of last season. I don't think I stopped once between end of summer and December with shoots - which I both love and appreciate! After a quick break for the holidays, I found myself with a lot of creative energy and not a lot of places to express it. So, I took this time to really build the back end of my business. I took multiple classes, did some trouble shooting and house keeping, created an LLC, got insurance, and tried to increase the value of my product to my clients.

I got some new equipment including a godox ad200 pro light, 70-200mm lens, 24mm lens, soft boxes, stools, I'll stop here in case my husband ever stumbles across this. But what I also got, was a small newborn "essentials" bag. As we know, I am not one for the studio newborn photos (hey, hey - you know what they say about opinions). However, sometimes it is difficult for me to get brand new babies in the right place for some snuggly-feeling photos. So, I got a mini set up so that I can include a few of those photos in your lifestyle session.

I was lucky that I had a lifestyle newborn shoot with the most adorable family in the cutest home as one of my first shoots of the year. Luckily, they agreed to have a little more patience with my as I practiced my swaddling skills. All I can tell you, is I'm obsessed with the results.

What do you think?
