Hi, I'm Hali.
I'm married to my college sweetheart, raising three wonderfully wild kids, and learning every day just how quickly life changes.
Somewhere between bedtime stories, scraped knees, and watching tiny hands grow, I realized the moments that seem ordinary today are often the ones we miss most tomorrow.
That's why I do this. Not because I love cameras or editing, but because I know what it feels like to wish you could hold onto a season just a little longer.
And while I can't stop time, I can help you remember it.
The story behind the name
WHY TEN SEVENTEEN?
Ten seventeen is more than a date.
it's the day I became a mother.
the day my oldest son was born, the world felt different. time suddenly seemed to move both impossibly slow and heartbreakingly fast. the ordinary moments i once rushed through became the ones i wanted to hold onto forever.
that's when i truly understood the value of photographs.
not because they're perfect.
because they let us return, even for a moment, to the seasons that shaped us.
ten seventeen photography was born from that realization.
every family has a ten seventeen - a moment that quietly changes everything. my hope is to preserve those moments for you, so years from now you'll be able to look back and remember not just what life looked like, but how it felt.
